The sun shone and festive spirits were high in Aldeburgh on Saturday as we welcomed back the Leiston Band of the Royal British Legion. They've had very few chances to play this year and were grateful for the generosity of the passers-by.

We look forward to the day when the red barriers will be removed and we can finally get the High Street back to normal, roll on 2021!

Thank you for all the lovely comments about our winter windows and also thank you to the Exotic Plant Co in Aldeburgh for supplying such fantastic trees again.

Felicity, Theo and the team have done a great job with the displays this year in the windows and throughout the store and we're really lucky to have such a creative bunch of staff. James started things off by cutting down the dead apple tree in the shop garden (see below, when it comes to gardening he's good at the destruction side of things) and it's lovely that the tree ended it's days in the window with such purpose!

We also have a fantastic art installation in our display cabinet which is a paper model of Aldeburgh made by the Our Home - Aldeburgh Christmas campaign, inspired and led by local artist Henrietta Villiers. Come and have a look if you're in town, our photos really don't do it justice.
