Women’s Winter Footwear

The Sebago Laney Lace Boot (shown above) is a very versatile showerproof leather/suede boot that can be worn laced right to the top or with the fur turned down (as above). They’re a really comfortable boot for walking in whilst still looking stylish. They also look great dressed up with tweed jackets and woollen skirts. If you’re a fan of Fly London boots you’ll love the new style for this season. The Fly Seku is a Gore Tex lined boot making them waterproof, breathable and warm without losing the Fly London charm. Merrell have a fantastic range of practical waterproofs starting at £85 for the Merrell Ryeland. It has a memory foam footbed, waterproof suede and textile upper, fleece lining and an EVA outsole for a firm grip. The Merrell Tremblant is the next step up and comes in slip-on and lace-up. A fantastic waterproof boot for the really cold days when it’s icy underfoot and you need warm, dry toes. Timberland meanwhile have taken their classic 6” Timberland design and crafted a great version for women, the Timberland Courmayeur Valley Lace-Up Boot. For such a robust showerproof boot they’re incredibly light and have a nubuck leather outer and wool/cotton lining. If you’re after a knee-high waterproof boot then Dubarry has it covered. The iconic styles such as the Galway and the Longford remain really popular but we also love the new style for this season, the Limerick. The Dubarry Limerick is practical because of the Dry-Soft leather and the Gore-Tex inner but it has a more contoured shape than the other Dubarry boots and a flattering stacked heel. And of course we have to mention our great collection of Le Chameau wellington boots. If you’re after something with extra warmth try the Le Chameau Country Fourree with a natural wool lining for thermal insulation, perfect if you’re out in the field a lot during the winter. Also the Le Chameau Giverny comes in a lovely Cherry colour which goes so well with this season’s deep greens, mustard yellows and burgundys.

Men’s Winter Footwear

Timberland have a waterproof version of their popular Larchmont Chukka which is a must-have for winter. The sealed seams keep you dry whilst the OrthoLite footbed gives you stability and support. And they look great too! If you need something more rugged and durable then look no further than the classic Timberland 6” Waterproof Plain Toe boot. The padded collar adds comfort and there’s a removable ‘anti-fatigue’ insole. It’s also kind to the environment by using several recycled materials.

The men’s Merrell Norsehund Omega Waterproof is a functional, insulated winter boot with fleece lining and a heat reflective sole. They’ve got a great grip to the sole too.

Sebago ticks the waterproof box with their Turner Chelsea boot. It’s great to have such a stylish casual boot that is also waterproof with rubber slip-resistant outsoles too. Looks great with jeans.
