I'm not a fan of the school run and when I wake up in the morning (actually when my 3 year old wakes me up very early in the morning) and I hear the rain pounding on the window I hate it even more. But alas needs must. The only positive thing I can now say about a wet, grey school run is at least I stay dry thanks to my Ilse Jacobsen Softshell Raincoat. I love the fit because it's not too bulky and doesn't make me feel like I ate too many mince pies (which of course I did) but best of all it really does keep me dry. Here's me looking like a drowned (stylish, dry) rat having deposited the girls at school: Now as much as I love my coat I'm quite pleased that they're forecasting sun in Suffolk tomorrow.
