Schöffel has been going for longer than O&C Butcher having started life in Germany in 1804 and is now run by the 6^th generation of the Schöffel family. For the UK market Schöffel took inspiration from the warmth of ski-wear and applied it to countrywear so that those who were out shooting could stay warm as well as dry. For men this autumn we see aubergine as the new colour for the Oakham gilet and our bestselling men's Schöffel coats are the Ptarmigan Tweed and the Ptarmigan super-lightweight.
