A new season always brings a few changes at O&C and Fleur. Alongside familiar favourites, we like to introduce new names that add something different to the mix — whether that’s a fresh take on everyday menswear, a new trainer brand or something we think will work particularly well for life on the Suffolk coast.

For Autumn ’26, we’re welcoming four new brands: Rains, Red Wing Shoes, Garment Project and FRNCH.

Here’s a quick introduction.

Rains

There are few places where good outerwear earns its keep quite like the Suffolk coast.

Danish brand Rains is known for combining practical weather protection with clean, contemporary Scandinavian design. The collection includes unisex outerwear and bags designed to deal with less-than-perfect weather without looking overly technical.

It feels particularly at home in Aldeburgh but equally suited to the city — useful when the weather turns.

Red Wing Shoes

Red Wing Shoes joins our menswear footwear collection this autumn.

Known for its boots and shoes, Red Wing is a name with a long history and a reputation for well-made, hard-wearing footwear. It’s a good fit for O&C: a brand with genuine heritage that still feels relevant today.

These are shoes and boots designed to be worn rather than saved for best — the sort that develop character with age and become part of your everyday wardrobe.

Garment Project

Copenhagen-based Garment Project joins our footwear collection at O&C for both men and women.

The brand specialises in understated, contemporary footwear with a distinctly Scandinavian feel. Clean shapes and an unfussy approach make these the sort of shoes that can quickly become everyday favourites.  If you're looking for loafers this season, these are hard to beat.

FRNCH

Across the road at Fleur, we’re also welcoming Parisian womenswear brand FRNCH. 

The collection brings a distinctly French feel to autumn dressing, with easy-to-wear pieces that feel feminine and contemporary without being overly formal.

As with all the Fleur collections, FRNCH will also be available to shop through the O&C website, bringing our womenswear from both sides of Aldeburgh High Street together online.

Introducing new brands is one of the enjoyable parts of being independent. Our buying is never static: we can listen to what our customers are looking for, see what is working and keep evolving the collections from season to season.
